SUMMARY: Responsible for efficient, profitable and safe operation of a retail store engaged in selling specific lines of merchandise and services by performing the following duties personally or by management of store
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Directs and coordinates staff in providing guest service activities as required by Fastrac Markets.Reviews and acts upon guest requests, complaints and inquires.
· Responsible for maximizing sales and profits within the store.Controls store expenses, monitors and corrects shrinkage problems and operates within established budgets.
· Conducts first employment interviews, checks' references and recruits new personnel.Completes New Hire packages, orientations and training guides.
· Handles guest complaints and problems.
· Oversees employees within the store to ensure compliance with Merchandising, Pricing, Food Service and Administrative requirements established by Fastrac Markets.
· Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties, Ensures employees work within Department of Labor Standards with Meal Periods, Day of Rest, Employment of Minor Regulations, Etc.Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, payroll and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
· Conducts guest service, alcohol, safety and environmental training programs.
· Coordinates training for employees.Evaluates performance and implements disciplinary procedures as required.
· Responsible and accountable for the facility, it's overall physical image, maintenance, equipment, inventory, cash and cash equivalencies.
· Uses cash register and charge card machines to total guest purchases quickly and efficiently.Sells and redeems lottery tickets.Takes gasoline level readings.Sells money orders, gift cards and gift certificates.
· Accountable for accurate and responsible handling of all moneys (in addition to any form of acceptable payments) received and disbursed during a respective shift.Prepares required forms and reports for cash and inventory control during shift.
· Performs other duties such as, but not limited to: mopping, sweeping, cleaning the store; putting away store merchandise, pricing; doing what it takes to maintain the acceptable appearance standard that Fastrac sets forth.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for direction of up to one to twenty-five employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities inAccordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

SUMMARY: Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: prompt and courteous service to all guests, daily store paperwork, cash up, inventory duties and the recruiting and training of new employees. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the facility during an assigned shift or in a manager's absence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Continuously work to maintain and improve image, profitability and efficiency of facility and employees according to Fastrac standards. Assistant Managers schedules must be flexible enough to meet the demands of a retail facility.
· Handle's guest complaints and problems.
· Consults with manager concerning disciplinary action and promotions. Assumes immediate responsibility to correct infractions and provide direction.
· Provides guest service in keeping with the operating standards of the company.
· Uses cash register and charge card machines to total guest purchases quickly and efficiently. Sells and redeems lottery tickets. Takes gasoline level readings. Sells money orders, gift cards and gift certificates.
· Stocks and rotates merchandise on shelves, in coolers, display cases and freezers, counters or tables. Arrange displays to promote sales. Stamp or tags prices on merchandise when necessary. Receive vendors as per company policy.
· Accountable for accurate and responsible handling of all moneys (in addition to any form of acceptable payments) received and disbursed during a respective shift. Prepares required forms and reports for cash and inventory control during shift.
· Understands, operates, cleans and maintains the facility and all of it's equipment in a safe and efficient manner in keeping with the operating standards of the company.
· Prepares and records all Payroll and Human Resources information accurately and timely. Complies with employee and guest safety regulations. Understands all general rules, company operating standards and policies.
